    We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Interior Designer to join our growing team. This role would suit someone with at least three years’ experience in a similar position within the commercial design sector, and a portfolio that demonstrates a solid understanding of commercial interiors, UK building regulations and safety requirements. Our work spans a broad range of sectors, including workplace design, hospitality, student accommodation, build-to-rent (BTR), show homes, education and health and wellbeing spaces. While these form the core of our expertise, we’re always keen to explore new sectors and opportunities as the studio continues to evolve.

    Based in our Harrogate studio, you’ll work closely with the interior design team and Director, contributing to the delivery of high-profile commercial projects for established corporate clients, major venues such as Emirates and Old Trafford stadiums, and exciting emerging brands.

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience, post qualification, in Commercial Interior Design - we are looking for someone to slot in to our existing team structure, so experience within the field is a must

    • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite

    • Ability to use SketchUp and Enscape is beneficial

    • Strong portfolio demonstrating commercial design experience across diverse industries

    • Exceptional space planning, layout, and design skills

    • Has a good understanding of FF&E, colour and material specification and development

    • Knowledge of current UK building codes, standards, and construction techniques

    • Ability to communicate design ideas clearly and effectively with clients and team members

    • Collaborate with consultants, contractors, fabricators and other agencies to achieve project objectives

    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

    • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field

    • Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for site visits and client meetings

    • Design and execute impactful interior layouts for a variety of commercial spaces (offices, retail, hospitality, etc.)

    • Collaborate with clients, architects, and project teams to develop design concepts and space planning solutions

    • Produce detailed drawings and presentations using AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite

    • Ensure design solutions are aligned with the client’s brand, goals, and budget

    • Working with visualisers to create 3D visualisations and walkthroughs to bring design concepts to life

    • Source materials, furnishings, and finishes that meet project needs and specifications

    • Manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining design quality

    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovations in commercial design

    • National travel required with occasional overnight stays

    • Competitive salary and benefits package – salary circa. £30,000 + per annum dependent on skills and experience

    • 28 days holiday entitlement including Bank Holidays

    • Flexible and hybrid working when diaries allow, the main working hours to be conducted Monday to Friday between 10am and 3pm, with flexibility either side
