Logistics Client.

LOCATION: Dublin
TYPE: Office Interior Design

Our confidential client was looking to establish a landmark headquarters in Dublin that would set the benchmark for logistics facilities worldwide. The brief was clear: the new HQ had to embody the highest standards of sustainability, make a bold brand statement, and adapt to the company's shift towards hybrid working.

We carefully selected flooring, furnishings, and finishes with sustainability in mind. The manufacturing processes, use of recycled materials, and the potential for future recycling were all key considerations in the design process. Many of the chosen floor coverings can be broken down into raw materials for reuse, furniture selections were predominantly made from recycled materials or designed for recyclability at the end of their life cycle. Upholstery fabrics included innovative designs, with up to 26 plastic bottles per linear meter woven into the fabric, and reclaimed wood was utilised in feature walls and worktops throughout the space.

The open-plan workspace design promotes interaction and collaboration, complemented by a variety of meeting rooms and an expansive 16-seat boardroom complete with banquet seating. Multiple collaborative zones were also created to provide alternative settings for brainstorming sessions and informal discussions.

At the heart of our client’s new HQ is a multifunctional social hub which can be utilised as a canteen for daily use, a venue for internal meetings, group gatherings, and even corporate events. Its versatile design ensures it meets a variety of needs, with the sole purpose of fostering community and collaboration among staff and visitors to the space.

Bringing everything together was the incorporation of the client’s brand colours throughout the space, which helps to strengthen the client’s identity and brand values.
