2 City West —

Studio 93 reimagined the arrival experience at 2 City West, transforming a conventional reception into a warm, boutique hotel–inspired environment that prioritises comfort, identity and first impressions.

The design centres around a soft, organic language expressed through a sweeping, serpentine banquette and fluid carpet forms that intuitively guides movement through the space while creating moments for pause and informal interaction. A rich, earthy palette of terracotta and olive tones is balanced with natural textures, layered planting and tactile finishes, establishing a calm yet characterful atmosphere.

At the heart of the scheme sits a bespoke reception desk, designed to be DDA compliant without compromising on visual impact. Its fluted detailing and gentle curves echo the wider design language, while integrated lighting enhances depth and presence within the double-height space.

The result is a reception that feels less transactional and more experiential blurring the line between workplace and hospitality, and setting a refined, welcoming tone for the building as a whole.
