Engineering College UTC —
We are delighted to have completed on our Student Education project for the Engineering College UTC in Lincoln.
As a vital part of the school, the Sixth Form area needed to support both academic and social purposes providing an environment that foster learning, collaboration, and personal development. UTC required a design that would not only modernise the space but also make it more inviting and functional for students.
UTC’s existing Sixth Form space was outdated and lacked the vibrant, functional design necessary to meet the needs of its students. The area felt uninspiring and its layout didn’t encourage the kind of collaboration and independent study that students needed.
Working alongside Nolan Interiors for the furniture procurement and fit out, we brought together a multitude of aesthetic enhancements, with a vibrant colour scheme, thoughtfully chosen fabrics and finishes as well as inspiring wall graphics which bring both energy and a sense of community to the space. We also incorporated interest and functionality with acoustic wall paneling and faux green walls.
The transformation has provided students with a modern, vibrant environment that supports both academic and social activities. Students now have a space they are proud to use, whether for studying, group projects or simply relaxing between classes. Over the campus, we designed corridor graphics, classrooms, breakout spaces, a 3d printing room, labs and medical spaces.
This exciting renovation not only delivered a visually appealing space but also a functional, future ready environment that enhances the overall student experience at UTC.
