We’re delighted to have finished another office interior design project for Handelsbanken, this time in the seaside town of Scarborough! Handelsbanken sought to create an office space that not only reflected their professional image but also prioritises the wellbeing and productivity of their employees. They aimed to enhance collaboration and communication among staff, provide versatile meeting spaces to accommodate various team sizes and activities, and incorporate contemporary design elements to create a welcoming and impressive environment for clients and visitors.

Having had the privilege of working with Handelsbanken alongside Design Tonic before, we knew the brand, its values and its culture well. Drawing upon our expertise and understanding of Handelsbanken's requirements, we devised a design scheme around functionality, flexibility, and aesthetic appeal.

We incorporated several key features into the office design, including an informal meeting room created to facilitate spontaneous discussions and brainstorming sessions. This space is characterised by comfortable seating and a tonal colour palette to create a relaxed yet productive atmosphere. Additionally, we installed a foldable wall system into one of the other meeting rooms to provide versatility, allowing the space to be easily transformed to accommodate larger gatherings or subdivided for more intimate meeting. 

The finished space is contemporary and sleek, with premium finishes and a high-end aesthetic that aligns with Handelsbanken's brand identity.
